With his essay on its squalid grace, Ian Bogost helped launch the iOS gaming phenomenon that was Flappy Bird. This game commemorates Professor Bogost's contribution by pitting his majestic flowing locks against a series of green peppers in a dazzling New Mexico sunset landscape.*
Flappy Bogost was created as part of the Flappy Jam in February 2014 by Greg Borenstein. You can also play it on cardboardmagic.itch.io. All art in the game was drawn using Make Pixel Art.
